Bureau for Children
The Personal Health Services Division serves as the local contact for families who participate in this program. The BCMH program provides early identification, evaluation, referral, and coordination of services for children from birth to 21 years with handicapping conditions. Under this program, the family is able to receive culturally competent home visits from the public health nurse which may include child assessment, care plan development, health promotion, and advocacy on behalf of the family. There is no charge to families for participation in this program.
