                                       Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
                                       3rd Tuesday of each month 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

WIC is a nutrition education program that provides nutritious supplemental foods which promote good health for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to 5 years of age.

SERVICES & BENEFITS

     · Food coupons to take to grocery store to receive milk, cheese, eggs
       juice, cereal, peanut butter or beans, and infant formula at NO COST

     · Nutritional education and counseling

     · Breastfeeding support (and breast pumps when available)
       Why breast feed a baby ?
Babies were born to be breastfed

     · Referrals to other health and community programs

     · Farmers Market coupons for Ohio grown fruits and vegetables
       (June through October)

     · Internet nutrition education available at http://www.wichealth.org

QUALIFICATIONS

     · Must live in Geauga County, in the State of Ohio

     · Must meet income guidelines

     · Must be pregnant, breastfeeding or postpartum woman who has a
       baby less than (6) months old

     · Infants and children up to (5) years old

     · Determined to be at medical or nutritional risk

HOW CAN I SIGN UP FOR WIC?

Call our main clinic office at (440) 279-1936 to find a clinic near you.

You will need to bring the following items with you:
    * Identification
    * Proof of household income

    * Proof of residency
    * Proof of pregnancy
    * Yourself and your eligible children
