Public Health Nurses assist Geauga County schools with less than 100 students with health record management, vision screenings, and appropriate health care referrals.
Additionally, for all schools within Geauga County, public health nurses provide age appropriate vaccination for students and pertinent information and updates on child health issues. The nursing staff meet periodically with school nurses to review protocols, vaccination updates and to maintain a network of support.
