In the year 2003 there were 1,100 births, 558 females and 542 males. The majority of the births were at UHHS Geauga Regional, 139 were at Middlefield Care Center and there were 11 home births.

2003 Death Statistics

There were 694 deaths recorded in Geauga County for 2003. The Health District’s Medical Director reviews all death certificates and compiles statistics listing the most common causes of death.
